    Job Description

    The NAPA Auto Parts Account Manager will focus on managing and growing the NAPA business for ITW Global Brands.  Manage all aspects of the assigned accounts within the Retail Shared Services Division. Develop and implement innovative sales programs and introduce new products within NAPA Headquarters and Independent Store Owners (ISO’s).  Develop and implement plans to deliver strong net margin growth.  Maintain, grow, and develop strong customer relationships. Manage allotted budget within assigned parameters.

    The job involves selling the full portfolio of the assigned account for the Retail Shared Services organization within the ITW Automotive Aftermarket Group including ITW Permatex, Car Care and Global Tire Repair.  Brands include Permatex, Rain-X, Fix-a-Flat, Slime, Fast Orange, Gumout, Versachem, No Touch and Black Magic.

    NAPA HEADQUARTERS SPECIFIC  

    • Responsible for Customer(s) product, price, and brand strategy. 
    • Manage short-term and long-term NAPA Headquarters relationships. 
    • Develop and execute sales strategies to profitably grow all assigned brands in conjunction with Team Lead. 
    • Strategize with brand teams and help lead product and line reviews to Customer including building presentation/s, presenting and execution.
    • Implement comprehensive retail sales and marketing programs. 
    • Assist Team Lead to identify opportunities and market gaps within Corporate POG’s based on market data and trends.
    • Coordinate and manage onsite advertisements to effectively optimize sales growth. 
    • Evaluate competitive products, pricing, promotions, and sales strategies. 
    • Manage and ensure inventory forecasts and SD&A spends are accurate and in place. 
    • Collaborate with Divisions’ Marketing and Brand Management Teams on product pricing, promotions, advertising, and new product introductions. 
    • Assist in the development of targeted national and regional media campaigns and promotional calendars. 
    • Plan, manage and attend regional trade shows when necessary.
    • Other project or duties as needed by Team.

     

    NAPA FIELD/INDEPENDENT STORE OWNER (ISO) SPECIFIC

    • Maintain communication and grow relationships with NAPA Field Sales Teams and Top 20 ISO’s to create a full omni-channel experience.
    • In conjunction with Field Sales Teams, identify and execute new ISO sales opportunities.
    • Customize programs and promotions based on ISO needs and regional trends.
    • Work closely with ISO’s to analyze sales and POS of ITW Global Brands products.
    • Work with Field Sales Team on regional trade shows such as planning, managing or attending.
    • Assist Field Sales Teams and ISO’s to answer product/program questions and troubleshoot.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • 2 to 3 years of CPG sales experience minimum. 
    • Strong customer focus, communication, decision-making and influencing skills. 
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite – Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
    • Strong presentation creation skills. 
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills. 
    • Strong project management and organizational skills. 
    • Ability to work in a team environment is essential. 
    • Valid driver’s license. 
    • Up to 30% travel time.
