Job Description
This role will ensure a safe, accurate, and efficient work environment when making batches of chemical product. S/he will assist in all aspects of liquid line production and look to accomplish assigned tasks in a neat, orderly and timely fashion without unnecessary interruptions in the workflow.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Batching
1. Make batches for product that has more than two components.
2. Submit samples of raw material and finished product for quality control inspection and approval.
3. Monitor chemical inventory.
4. Remove and properly dispose of empty drums.
5. Utilize forklift to load and unload delivery trucks.
Liquids
1. Familiarization with components of all liquid line products and pulling materials.
2. Able to handle all minor repairs on liquid line related equipment.
3. Assist in major repairs of liquid line equipment as needed.
4. Fill all products that do not require a propellant ranging from 2 oz. to 55 gallons.
5. Assist in the proper packing of product.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Ability to communicate and follow instructions.
Detailed oriented with ability to work efficiently and independently.
Certified forklift driver
Basic mechanical skills
Able to stand for long periods of time.
Able to Lifting up to 50-75 lbs.
Able to Bend, stretch, and stoop with regularity.
