Job Description

ITW Global Tire Repair is seeking a part-time Finance & Accounting Intern who we can help grow in their foundational accounting knowledge and experiences. This position will support the San Luis Obispo Finance team through exposure and on-the-job experiences that help strengthen their skills and prepare them for their future careers. This individual will gain hands-on experience by being involved in key tasks in support of the department’s goals and will support the business through timely and accurate reporting. This individual will be exposed to key business processes including accounts payable, accounts receivable, the monthly close process and ad hoc projects.

Qualifications

• Minimally, in their Junior year of a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting
• Strong written/verbal communication skills; demonstrates good listening skills; able to communicate status on process
• Independent and organized work style; effectively manage time and prioritize workload, manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision
• Exceptional attention to detail is crucial.
• Ability to work with Microsoft Office.  Must be efficient with Excel.
• Teamwork, encouragement, and support for all departments are requirements of the position.

Additional Information

This position will be working 20 hours per week flexible within standard business hours (Monday thru Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM). Relocation and housing support is not available for this position. This position requires the candidate to be completely onsite, remote work is not available.
