Job Description

We are currently looking for a new Test Engineer. The Test Engineer will develop automated test systems, establish test procedures and coordinate testing of products under development.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Automates test equipment using LabVIEW software to read and control USB and GPIB based source measure units, DMMs, oscilloscopes, XY stages, relays, and IO controllers.
• Automates data storage and displays data by writing data directly into Excel
• Designs and builds the test fixture hardware
• Creates test system operating procedures
• Performs test system repeatability studies
• Identifies and resolves testing problems with new products and production test systems
• Performs and supports testing of new products and trains operators
• Performs characterization testing of new products, creates graphs, and data tables for their datasheets
• Identifies production jobs that would benefit from test automation and automates their testing

Qualifications

• BACHELOR’S DEGREE IN ENGINEERING REQUIRED
• TWO YEARS OF RELATED EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software to prepare test reports and proposals
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
