  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    Key Position Responsibilities:

    • Receive and review new business inquiries from prospective clients provided through web forms; email and telephone.
    • Record inquiry and prospective client information in pertinent systems
    • Follow up on assigned leads by email and phone including determination of service needs and provision of quotations
    • Forward applicable leads to Strategic Accounts or Sales Supervisor for follow-up and resolution, if non-transactional
    • Work with operations on coordination of new sales and revision of existing sales
    • Follow Eurofins policies and procedures
    • Promote and provide consistent high-quality customer service
    • Report on KPI’s as they relate to open and closed sales, leads contacted, and new sales won
    • Support Eurofins promoted marketing initiatives with sales team and follow-up on identified opportunities
    • Monitor customer preferences to determine focus of sales efforts.
    • Make cold calls, as necessary

    • Applies good practices in all areas of responsibility, as appropriate
    • Demonstrates and promotes the company vision
    • Regular attendance and punctuality
    • Conducts all activities in a safe and efficient manner
    • Maintain confidentiality and impartiality in all aspects of work and adhere to all procedures established by Eurofins and its auditing clients.
    • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Associates degree in food related or business/sales discipline
    • BS degree in food related or business/sales discipline (preferred)
    • Strong interpersonal skills that allow for moving comfortably in a business environment and to interface with all levels of customer and staff
    • Detail oriented with documentation
    • Self-motivated
    • Strong time management skills
    • Ability to work independently and efficiently
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Works well under pressure and handles adverse situations
    • Problem solving ability
