    Job Description

    This position will report directly to the Director of Sales, Americas and will be responsible for growing the sales of our Industrial product portfolio. Simco-Ion Industrial products are used in a wide range of industries including medical, automotive, packaging, converting and printing. Our products are engineered and utilized in many applications: static elimination, static generation, static monitoring and contamination control. The incumbent will plan, organize and execute activities to achieve and exceed total revenue goals for the defined territory. The Field Sales Representative will primarily deal with large to mid-sized companies and engage with new and existing customers in an engineering/manufacturing environment. All activities should be conducive to growing revenue, improving brand positioning and gaining market share across the defined sales territory. The individual is responsible for owning the strategy, relationships and performance of the assigned territory through effective account management, executing new business opportunities and developing strategic relationships at appropriate levels. To be successful, one must possess both strong communication skills and sales skills, be highly motivated, be highly organized and a self-starter. The ideal location for the candidate to be based is the Greater Atlanta area; this territory is defined as: GA, Eastern TN, AL and FL.

    ** Essential Duties and Responsibilities** :

    • Represent Simco-Ion Industrial products within assigned market
    • Work collaboratively with management, engineering, marketing and peers to achieve and exceed sales goals
    • Act as the primary point of contact for customers within assigned territory
    • Regular travel required throughout entire territory to support existing customers and execute new business opportunities
    • Build a strong sales opportunity pipeline and close orders from existing and prospective customers
    • Regular on-site customer visits, product demonstrations and product training
    • Prospect new leads leveraging various methods (LinkedIn, Networking, Industry Organizations/events, cold calling, etc.)
    • Daily use of CRM (Salesforce) to enter account activity, such as sales calls, emails, contacts, quotes, and opportunity updates
    • Create and actively manage strategic market plan to track and report results/growth action plans
    • Act as a consultant to provide input on product feature enhancements and process improvements
    • Assist end-users & OEMs on planning the installation/placement of products
    • Answer customer questions and provide follow up to ensure customer satisfaction
    • Signfiicant travel required to properly support customers in territory and overnight travel will be needed on an as needed basis
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited program
    • 3 - 5 years of proven field sales experience
    • Demonstration of teamwork and leadership
    • Sales process skills
    • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to effectively communicate and engage across a wide range of personnel in organizations and present in large group settings
    • Effective time management, high level of organization, self-discipline, and structure
    • Ability to think and act strategically – capable of analyzing and interpreting data to make decisions
    • Comfortable reviewing and discussing CAD files and associated drawings
    • Possess a technical aptitude and ability to understand product design and intent
    • Proficient in Microsoft Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
    • Experience working with Salesforce.com or similar CRM
    • Ability to manage expenses and budgets as required
    • Valid/current Driver’s License requires travel and overnight stays as needed
