    Job Description

    The selected candidate will perform customer support activities including receiving, processing, investigating, and resolving all incoming orders and inquiries from our international sales offices. The successful candidate will have frequent contact with both internal and external personnel along with customer contact that will require professionalism, courtesy, and tact. The candidate should possess the knowledge and skills necessary to resolve wide and varied situations covering all aspects of the business and be able to implement recommendations and decisions regarding these matters. The position requires a highly organized individual capable of multitasking in a fast-paced customer service environment. They will be a self-starter capable of independent work and possess attention to detail, focusing on accuracy. Office hours are 8-5.

    Responsibilities

    • Supporting ITW Sales offices in Latin America
    • Handling wide and varied inquiries, primarily via email
    • Coordinating international freight
    • Creating export shipping documents
    • Communicating verbally and in writing with a high level of professionalism
    • Accurate entry of all assigned customer orders and review of electronically submitted orders
    • Effectively interact with co-workers, customers, and multiple manufacturing and product lines
    • Develop a high level of product knowledge and the ability to answer questions regarding use and care
    • Maintain detailed notes on product updates, system tools and department processes
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Associate Degree in Business Administration/Marketing or equivalent experience
    • 3+ years sales and/or customer support experience
    • Excellent oral, interpersonal, and written communication skills
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office
    • Basic understanding of shipping, warehousing, and manufacturing processes
    • Ability to plan and coordinate projects as an individual contributor or as a member of a cross-functional team

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience supporting international accounts
    • Proficient in speaking and writing Spanish
    • Experience coordinating international freight
    • Knowledge of export document requirements
    • Experience with AutoQuotes
    • Experience supporting both internal and external customers in a manufacturing environment
    • Experience working in an organization that utilizes the principles of 80/20
