Job Summary:
This position entails all aspects of Regulatory product testing, process and method development, and document sorting under the supervision of the R&D Director. The successful candidate will work with industrial regulatory requirements such as FDA, EPA, REACH, etc., while also learning solvent and aqueous chemistry. A moderate degree of independent work ability and individual initiative will be expected in fulfilling the requirements of this position.
Key Responsibilities:
Work with Regulatory department to evaluate current processes and timelines
Assist in converting Regulatory analog files and data into digital format
Perform regular verification of regulatory labels and chemicals
Ensure safety by identifying potential hazards and by observing all laboratory and plant safety requirements
Troubleshoot with Regulatory and R&D to tackle unique industrial challenges
Assist quality with evaluating regulatory compliance real time on the production floor
Additional job activities as may be required by the R&D/Regulatory Department
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Pursuing or obtained a BS degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or applicable field
Student in their Senior year preferred
1 year and/or >2 semesters relevant practical laboratory experience in field or educational setting
Must have good verbal and written communication skills
Computer literate and excellent organization skills
Must have excellent math skills
Demonstrated ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision
