    Job Description

    Job Summary:

    This position entails all aspects of Regulatory product testing, process and method development, and document sorting under the supervision of the R&D Director. The successful candidate will work with industrial regulatory requirements such as FDA, EPA, REACH, etc., while also learning solvent and aqueous chemistry. A moderate degree of independent work ability and individual initiative will be expected in fulfilling the requirements of this position.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Work with Regulatory department to evaluate current processes and timelines

    • Assist in converting Regulatory analog files and data into digital format

    • Perform regular verification of regulatory labels and chemicals

    • Ensure safety by identifying potential hazards and by observing all laboratory and plant safety requirements

    • Troubleshoot with Regulatory and R&D to tackle unique industrial challenges

    • Assist quality with evaluating regulatory compliance real time on the production floor

    • Additional job activities as may be required by the R&D/Regulatory Department

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Pursuing or obtained a BS degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or applicable field

    • Student in their Senior year preferred

    • 1 year and/or >2 semesters relevant practical laboratory experience in field or educational setting

    • Must have good verbal and written communication skills

    • Computer literate and excellent organization skills

    • Must have excellent math skills

    • Demonstrated ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision
