    ITologist is looking for a part-time technical support specialist to engage with clients in a virtual and in-person capacity. Virtual support makes up about 70% of the job while in-person support makes up about 30% of the job. Due to COVID-19, these percentages can quickly change up or down in short notice. This role is an hourly position on a part-time basis with no benefits. This role may eventually grow and turn into a greater capacity in the near future. Responsibilities: • Advanced knowledge to support inbound client support requests (break/fix) • Advanced proficiency to efficiently handle a variety of technical support needs in both the windows (95%) and mac (5%) environments • Advanced proficiency with Windows server environments required - mix of on premise and cloud based • Advanced proficiency with advanced knowledge of networking required - Cisco, Ubiquiti, etc. • Moderate knowledge of VoIP systems desired • Moderate knowledge of modern A/V systems desired • Desirable knowledge of SharePoint and Microsoft 365 management Qualifications: • Must be interested in engaging and interfacing with clients over the phone, Teams/Zoom and in person with the primary goal of delivering incredible customer service • Must have a fairly flexible schedule and be able to transport onsite to client locations in an as-needed fashion specific and local to the Syracuse and Central New York area • Willingness to learn and grow as new needs and situations arise • NO out-of-state remote capacity candidates are able to apply for this position Compensation: $30 - $40 hourly
