     IV League Inc, located in Culver City, CA is hiring. We have an immediate opening for a Pharmacy Intake Coordinator/Authorizations Specialist. This is a fast-paced environment with an amazing opportunity to be part of the IV league family. We are the leading provider of home infusion services in Southern California.

    • Communicate clearly with patients, families, visitors, healthcare team, physicians, administrators, leadership, and others.
    • Run insurance verification and eligibility determination via phone or web portals. Coordinate medical services for the patient.
    • Act as liaison between the patient, home health agency, and physician. Ensure that all of the needs of patients and referral sources are met timely and accurately.

     

    PRIMARY DUTIES

    • Receive healthcare referrals from various healthcare organizations via phone/fax/internet.
    • Run insurance verification and eligibility determination via phone or web portals.
    • Coordinate medical services for the patient.
    • Act as liaison between the patient, home health agency, and physician. Ensure that all of the needs of patients and referral sources are met timely and accurately.

     

    QUALIFICATIONS

    •  Two years of experience in a healthcare setting
    • Experience in various settings such as hospitals, multispecialty clinics,
    • pharmaceuticals and ancillary providers.
    • Familiarity with ICD-10 and HCPCS coding.
    • Strong communication skills a must
    • Pharmacy technician License Preferred

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

    • Must be able to lift and carry up to 25lbs.
    • Prolonged sitting

     

    WORK SCHEDULE:

    • Monday – Saturday (varies); 8 hours per day/40 hours per week.
