Qualifications
• Minimum five (5) years of construction experience and knowledge of ground-up construction management process and permitting
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Spanish
• Knowledge of budget development, accurate expenditure projections, and execution
• Cost control proficiency within new construction work, ensuring competitive rates for quality work
• Competency in reading and understanding blueprints and or building as-builds
• Strong customer service, critical thinking, and influencing skills
• Ability to speak clearly, persuasively, and professionally in a public or private setting
• Detail-oriented with excellent time management and organizational skills
• Computer proficiency required in Microsoft Office products with a higher level of proficiency in Excel and project management software like OSP or Fieldwire
• Ability to work a flexible full-time schedule that may include weekends, holidays, and/or extended hours
• Associate degree coupled with equivalent work experience preferred
• Valid and clean State issued Driver’s License
Responsibilities
• Oversee projects from start to finish, making sure general contractors deliver work correctly within Ivey standards
• Create, manage, and update project schedule and provide status updates to aligned departments and supervisors
• Make daily trips to job sites during construction, including bid walks, pre-construction, punch walks, and construction closeout
• Maintain accurate and complete records for projects and ensure relevant documents are distributed in a timely manner and in accordance with corporate and customer standards from beginning until closeout
• Update tracking systems to ensure that project and/or program status is maintained with complete accuracy, including third-party management systems (OSP, Excel, Fieldwire)
• Act as a company safety observer and quality assurance representative while at the site, ensuring compliance with safety standards and related workmanship practices
• Ensure that daily interaction with the public and all employees is in a positive manner to promote a cohesive, cooperative working environment
• Other various office management functions such as supply ordering, package shipment, event coordination, and scheduling may be required
• Meet with clients to create project estimates and ensure profitability throughout the project.
