    Title: IaaS Administrator (vSphere/vRealize) Duration: 6-12+ months contract Location: Atlanta, GA or Dallas, TX (hybrid)

    About the Role: The IaaS Administrator will be responsible for managing and supporting the virtualized infrastructure within a Private Cloud environment. This role will involve the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of VMware vSphere, vRealize Suite, and associated virtualization technologies to ensure the seamless operation of our IaaS offerings. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with vSphere, vRealize Automation (vRA), vRealize Operations (vROps), and related VMware technologies, providing tactical support for resource allocation, automation, and migration activities.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience). • Experience: 5 to 7+ years of experience in VMware virtualization technologies, including vSphere, vRealize Automation, and vRealize Operations. • Certifications: VMware VCP-DCV, VCAP, or equivalent certification preferred.

    Technical Skills: o Strong expertise in vSphere, vSAN, Cloud Foundation, NSX, vRealize Automation, and vRealize Operations. o Experience with automation scripting (PowerShell, Python, or Terraform) for VM provisioning and configuration. o Proficiency in automation tools such as PowerCLI, Terraform, and Ansible. o Experience with Site Recovery Manager and vSphere Replication. o Hands-on experience in managing cloud infrastructure and virtualization environments. o Knowledge of networking, storage, and security best practices in virtualized environments. o Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for VM provisioning and patching.

    Preferred Qualifications: • Experience working in enterprise-scale virtualization and private cloud environments. • Strong understanding of ITIL processes and change management. • VMware Certified Professional (VCP) or higher • Experience with cloud-native technologies and containerization (Kubernetes, Docker). • Familiarity with compliance frameworks and security best practices. • Experience with CI/CD pipelines for automated VM provisioning.
