Job Description

We are looking for a QuickBooks Online Accountant to join our team! You will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial records for our company's clients. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Book bank transactions and accrual journal entries for AP, inventory, AR etc
• Perform monthly reconciliation and budgeting
• Prepare and examine accounting records, financial statements, taxes, and other financial reports
• Deliver accurate and timely financial statements to the client.
• Accurately maintain the accounting files and books for the clients and internal use.
• Develop and analyze reporting for business operations and budgets
• Perform audits, ensuring adherence to standard requirements
• Create new processes to improve financial efficiency

​QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience with ecommerce industry preferred
• Client relationship driven with an excellent knowledge of client’s mission and understanding of their changing needs.
• Excellent verbal and written skills with the flexibility to effectively communicate complex accounting concepts to clients while building remote relationships with individuals from different backgrounds (religious, geographic, socio-economic, ethnicity, etc.)
• Previous experience in accounting or other related fields
• Fundamental knowledge of GAAP
• Experience with current computer accounting programs and reporting tools like Quickbooks Online
• Organized, detail and deadline-oriented
• Self-starter who is effective with minimal direction
• Excellent team member and collaborative worke
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent experience
•  2+ years of experience working in an accounting position
