    We are seeking a full-time, highly motivated Assistant Financial Planner/Client Service Associate to support our Financial Advisors in creating financial plans, client management and client servicing. The candidate should be able to assist a team of 3 members and have a desire to learn from joint work with them. The ideal candidate must possess strong written and verbal communication, administrative, and organizational skills and the ability to maintain a professional demeanor. This role requires superior interpersonal and multi-tasking skill sets as you will assist in performing a variety of daily operational tasks so that the team grows their business, runs smoothly, and meets service standards. There is room to grow on our team. You must be knowledgeable about individual securities analysis, portfolio management, and financial planning.

    EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and/or related field.
    • Successfully completed FINRA SIE Exam, Series 7, 63 and 65 and/or 66 exams to qualify for immediate registration (or FINRA recognized equivalents)
    • CFP ® Certification a PLUS.
    • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the financial and investment advisory industry.
    • A base understanding of the industry, financial concepts, product knowledge, investment management, and client-service strategies

    RESPONSIBILITIES & SKILLS:

    • Demonstrate the ability to multi task and prioritize daily workload with little or no supervision.
    • Provide administrative support to the Financial Advisors & Director of Operations to maintain current client base.
    • Enter data into financial planning software, writeup plans and present with Advisor to clients and prospects.
    • Prepare financial meeting reports, attend and document client & prospect meetings with advisor & complete necessary follow-up.
    • Prepare new account applications, forms and opens new accounts, follows up on deficient items, performs account transfers, receives and processes service requests, disbursement requests and provides backup to other Assistants.
    • Assist with executing trades on the internal trading system
    • Must possess advanced proficiency with technology; including Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook), and ability to quickly learn internal software programs.
    • Answer/handle/screen telephone calls, read and respond to emails, schedule appointments for Advisors, and manage calendars.
    • Demonstrate strong accuracy and thoroughness in all facets of daily work and possess superb organizational skills and detail oriented.
    • Work effectively with and add value to a goal-oriented team.
    • Must have a highly developed level of discretion and sound judgment to assist Wealth Advisors as needed.
    • Effective oral and written communication skills, as well as the presentation and interpersonal skills needed to successfully interact with prospects, clients, financial professionals, and other associates.
    • Reliable level of competence in following firm compliance procedures and file maintenance.
    • Assist clients in completing firm and custodian paperwork as needed.
    • Process and monitor client account transfers.
    • Assist with on-going client service requests, communicating sensitively and clearly with clients.
    • Maintain and update the firm’s client relationship management (CRM) system.
    • Prepare written correspondence as needed.
    • Must have strong organizational skills and the ability to work within deadlines. The ability to be decisive and quickly provide first class service to our client base.
    • Performs all other miscellaneous responsibilities and duties as assigned.
    • Successful completion of background, credit and drug screening
