Idaho Asphalt Supply, Inc. (IAS) is a leading asphalt supplier and marketer in the inland Northwest and Pacific Northwest Regions. With plants in Idaho, Utah, Wyoming, Montana, Oregon, California, and Arizona, IAS supplies a diverse product line of asphalt, polymer-modified asphalt, and asphalt emulsions to the road maintenance and construction industry.
IAS is seeking to hire an SAP S4/HANA Specialist II who will directly report to the VP of Strategic Transformation and will be responsible for guiding and supporting our SAP S/4HANA Cloud ERP and related solutions. The candidate should be energized and a flexible self-starter to fill this full-time opening that will be located in the Coeur d’Alene, ID office. This position does have the possibility to be hybrid or remote. Travel to IAS plant locations may be required.
Position Summary
The SAP S4/HANA Specialist II serves as a subject matter expert in implementing, supporting, growing and innovating SAP S/4HANA and related systems that are used internally and externally. Responsibilities include project management, administration and provisioning for projects and repositories, implementation of new functionalities, operations and support, process improvement, and research and development to ensure continual innovation of the platform and predictable operations. When solutions are on-premises, the SAP S4/HANA Specialist II role will be very similar, though the product being supported may be operated internally or may not be a SaaS product, though the functions of the role are for the most part the same.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for tackling complex problems, developing solutions that best meet requirements, adding value to the business, be engaging and collaborative, and thriving in a fast paced, fun, and challenging work environment. Communication skills are also important for success in this role.
