ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

Directing and coordinating the overall functions of the billing department to ensure maximization of cash flow and reimbursement

Improving patient, physician, and other customer relations.

Supervising billing staff

Ensuring accurate patient billing/coding, compliance, reimbursement, and efficient account collection.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS FOR POSITION:

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in medical billing/coding

2 years as a department manager with supervisory responsibilities of 3 or more staff in a billing department

Associate degree and/or CPC certificate strongly preferred
