Job Description

We are looking for a confident, computer savvy addition to our Indirect Materials team in Wentzville, MO. The ideal candidate will be familiar with high-stress situations and will have a sense of urgency - both are necessities in the supply chain industry.

The MRP Planner role handles a high volume of independent work, so time-management and prioritizing will be necessary. Strong problem-solving abilities and on-the-fly decision making are needed to be successful in this role.

We are a small team and are in constant communication with each other to complete projects and long-term goals. Being able to contribute to the individual role and to the team's overall mission is very important.

Description/Requirements:

1. Schedule the supply of materials/components to meet production requirements and minimum safety stock levels

2. Experience with purchasing, expediting, MRP systems

3. Advanced Excel skills – specifically VLOOKUPS and Pivot Tables

4. Purchasing or inventory management background

5. Strong analytical, planning and problem solving skills

6. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, vendors and the customer

7. Knowledge, skill, and experience related to working with computers and a variety of computer systems/programs. Knowledge of the following preferred: SAP, Word, Excel, Outlook

8. Skill in evaluating data, determining appropriate course of action, and gaining acceptance of recommendations.

9. Ability to follow directives faithfully and work without close supervision.

10. Understands urgency and reacts accordingly

11. 1st shift 6:30am – 3pm with weekend on call rotation's ' Work Remotely
