Job Description

As Community Marketing Manager for Idera’s Database Tools business, you will be responsible for managing our online community, blog and social presence to support our brand awareness and lead generation goals. You will also build relationships with key influencers in our space and partner with them to generate high-quality content that engages our target audience. A strong understanding of content marketing and social media channels is required. Key responsibilities include:

• Develop and grow our online community of over 135,000 technical professionals.
• Organize and execute educational webinars with thought leaders and influencers.
• Manage our presence on Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook and other social channels to deepen engagement with customers and prospects.
• Execute social programs such as Twitter chats, Twitter polls and national day promotions.
• Manage Idera’s ACE program, which helps active members of the database and data modeling community share knowledge by sponsoring their travel to speaking and networking engagements.
• Support our content strategy by working with internal and external thought leaders to publish compelling blog and webinar content.
• Develop relevant metrics and reports to track progress of social and community initiatives.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of marketing experience in a B2B software environment
• Analytical and results oriented individual with understanding of online communities and social channels
• Keen eye for compelling content that delivers business value and attracts relevant site traffic
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including excellent writing skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and hold busy contributors to content deadlines
• Proficiency in relevant software such as GoToWebinar, Hootsuite, and salesforce.com
