    WESTWOOD PROFESSIONAL SERVICES, INC. is seeking a Civil Design Project Manager to join our team in our San Antonio, TX office.  Westwood has a highly experienced and dynamic team of individuals dedicated to providing high-level professional services to our clients. 

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

     

    Project Managers are ultimately responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, quality assurance/quality control and completion of specific projects. Project management is the backbone of the organization. Project management success dictates the success of the company.

     

    • Lead the planning and implementation on land projects.
    • Defines project tasks, schedules and resource requirements.
    • Complies with and helps the enforcement of company standards, policies and procedures.
    • Manages project budgets and analyzes project profitability, revenue, margins, billing rates and utilization.
    • Measured on the overall profitability and success of the project.
    • Conduct team meetings with project team and evaluate and coordinate the project.
    • Either lead or provide support with project proposals.
    • Prepare client-billing information on assigned projects and review billing folders under the direction of a Senior Project Manager.
    • Provide day-to-day guidance to project team staff as needed.
    • Identifies additional scope and fee opportunities that relate to the project and participates in business development activities.
    • Manages collections on outstanding accounts receivable balances.
    • Possesses a general understanding of computer applications utilized by team members during the execution of a project.
    • Provides on-going communication with the client related to the project.
    • Establishes goals for the projects and assist with achievement of QA/QC goals.
    • Manage Client relationships.

    Required Skills Required Experience

     

    • Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering.
    • Professional Engineer licensed in Texas.
    • Minimum 5+ years of increasing experience in land development.
    • Must have insight to client service and development.
    • Good understanding of financial management.
    • Well-developed conflict resolution skills.
    • Effective written and verbal communication is necessary and independent judgment is essential.
    • Good mentoring skills.
    • Excellent time management skills.
    • Possess the ability to change focus quickly during a typical day.
    • Positive and solution orientated approach to problems.

  • Qualifications
    • As a member of CMC leadership team, represent Technical Operations on program teams and work closely with cross-functional teams and external partners to prepare CMC strategies and develop drug substance and product process validation and commercial production plans and related budgets
    • Manage a team of drug substance and product CMC professionals. Lead, coach and mentor direct reports to ensure alignment with their role and responsibilities. Ensure individual development plans are in place and meet the personal and professional growth needs, while aligning with and supporting the needs of the business.
    • Work closely with supply chain and finance to develop a robust drug inventory control based on the rate of drug utilization and forecast model
    • Manage the manufacturing activities at contract organizations worldwide; ensure timely production of drug inventory and compliance
    • Author technical reports and protocols
    • Trend process performance by establishing relevant metrics
    • Identify and implement opportunities to improve process performance
    • Support regulatory submissions by writing and reviewing drug substance related sections
    • Up to 10% travel time for international and domestic travel is expected
