THIS IS A DIRECT HIRE, FULLY REMOTE!
The Title Curative Specialist will utilize their understanding of title underwriting standards and title insurer underwriting guidelines to determine condition of title, and insurability while analyzing risk and liability.
The right candidate for this position will enjoy resolving challenging issues and will also be determined to provide an excellent customer experience for our clients both internal and external.
With more than 180 clients of all shapes and sizes (Bank and non-bank lenders, servicers, real estate and attorney firms). We help our clients streamline their real estate transactions, improve loan productivity and profitability, while enhancing their brand and reputation by applying creativity, innovation and our whatever-it-takes service culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Curing title issues
- Responsible for the review of clearance documentation.
- Self-manage daily workloads and ensure completion of tasks in a timely manner
- Communicate and Collaborate with underwriters
- Draft and review of legal documents and state specific recording forms
- Prepare title commitments
- Responsible for communicating what needs to be paid and signed at closing.
- Ensure clear and organized communication containing feedback, progress, and results of specific assigned files.
- Communicate daily with internal and external customers to provide feedback and updates on status of files.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office programs, including Word and Outlook
- Prior experience with real estate settlement transactions.
- Strong written and oral communications skills
- Must provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Excellent organizational and strong collaboration skills
Education & Experience Qualifications
- High School Diploma and/or related education
- 1+ year experience in Real Estate Title, Escrow and Closings experience.
Salary and Hours
- Competitive depending on experience: $18- $25/hr.
