Ike's is looking to hire Shift Leads at our popular San Luis Obispo, CA location! Ike's Love & Sandwiches is a pioneer in the sandwich world transcending the sandwich genre since 2007. Shift Leads begin from $17.00-$18.00hr, plus estimated tips averaging $3hr more and includes paid sick leave, flexible schedules, benefits for those that qualify, and of course free sandwiches! Shift Leads are responsible for helping the store manager with the daily operations of our restaurant, including the development, performance, and leadership of our team. In addition, you will learn and perform tasks such as cost control, inventory management, product ordering, and profitability. Above all else, our shift leaders must be focused on delivering an exceptional customer experience through kindness, love, and delicious sandwiches. Essential functions and responsibilities include: Desire to be a leader in the restaurant industry Must have reliable transportation Must be eligible to work in the United States Self-disciplined, takes initiative, strong team leadership ability Ability to motivate employees to work as a team to ensure that food and service meet appropriate standards Must possess excellent communication skills Works with a sense of urgency and efficiency Problem solver Regular and consistent attendance Other various tasks Restaurant experience is a plus but is not necessary.
