Design and analyze structural systems for a wide variety of building types and materials.
Review blueprints, plans and change orders to verify the structural integrity of materials and designs, and perform complex calculations and use modeling methods to ensure correct results.
Coordinate between multiple disciplines and attend project meetings. Serve as a technical resource for a multi-disciplined team.
Perform computer-aided drafting using Revit and design for various projects.
Prepare documentation for private and government clients covering project plans and progress, change orders, environmental impact findings, ownership transfers, and other relevant information.
Assist senior staff with construction administration and construction management projects.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with a Structural focus.
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in structural design of buildings. Candidates with greater experience are encouraged to apply.
Professional registration as a PE or SE is preferred.
Working knowledge of Revit and having experience in various structural engineering software.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work independently are crucial.
Must have permanent work authorization to work in the US.
