  • Responsibilities

    As a Business Development Associate at Ikos, you'll support bringing property owners and property managers onto the Ikos platform, taking them through the process of onboarding their property, and then driving early engagement with the Ikos product and experience. 

    In this role, you will work with our CRM and proprietary software to educate potential clients on the value of Ikos and then set them up for a delightful experience renting their property through our platform. By doing this, you will be making a significant contribution to our vision of using real estate as a foundation for good; democratizing access, information, and data to both renters and property owners.

    DAILY ACTIVITIES:

    • Manage your daily tasks and sales pipeline
    • Identify customer trends to advise and support marketing efforts
    • Call and connect with prospective clients daily
    • Generate and follow up with inbound and outbound leads
    • Maintain and enrich account data in our CRM (Salesforce)
    • Learn the Ikos process in-depth and provide sales insight to the team
    • Know mistakes happen and work with the team to fix problems
    • Interact with individuals with different perspectives, lived experiences and ideas to challenge assumptions and grow your understanding

    :

    • 1+ years of experience preferred
    • Exceptional communication skills in writing, in-person, and over the phone
    • Comfort selling over the phone 
    • Capacity to work under pressure and meet deadlines
    • Stamina to hit personal goals while working together to help the team succeed
    • Ability to maintain honest and open communication

     

    NICE TO HAVES:

    • Understand the struggle between renters and property owners.
    • Be eager and interested in real estate and compelled to help people already in the business with a desire to learn as much as possible. Be good with people (genuinely good with people) and enjoy relationship building.

    COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS YOU'LL RECEIVE:

    • Compensation starting at $36,000 with an opportunity for sign-on bonus or equity
