    Who are you?

    You are a gamer. A social media savant. A horror film aficionado. You understand what the community craves but are savvy enough not to feed the trolls. You get it because you live it. This is your playground – these are your people. This isn’t your first day at camp.

    What you’ll do here:

    • You’ll Build, manage, and execute community and social media plans, working with internal departments, developers, and external agencies to get approvals and most importantly, craft great content.
    • You’ll know your audience, where they are, how they interact, and speak their language. You’ll be visible, engaging and helpful.
    • You’ll understand and follow the latest software, platforms, and technologies. You’re up on the newest tech and trends.
    • You’ll be a creative force who comes up with ideas and runs with them; creating and distributing product content across multiple platforms.
    • You’ll work with PR and marketing on community and digital media support plans - have a deep understanding of Friday The 13th and play it often because it’s rad.
    • You’ll work with and manage external vendors who support our community efforts.
    • You’ll train in and understand our social media analytic tools, contest and polling functionality, live stream technology, and social media software.
    • You’ll be confident and prepared to host and co-host live stream events and broadcasts, showcasing and playing Friday The 13th, and conducting interviews inside and outside the gaming industry.
    • You’ll be our face and take part in trade, developer, and consumer shows with community presence, including onsite support and travel.
    • You’ll assist our customer service department in identifying, routing, and raising customer service issues to the proper personnel and departments.

    What you’ve done:

    •You’ll have 5-7 years of experience building and actively cultivating online communities of gamers/consumers across multiple social media channels.

    •You’ll speak good! Possessing exemplary verbal and written communication skills while being outgoing and engaging.

    •You’ll have a deep understanding and play experience of recent and past console, PC, and tablet games, including shooters, strategy, and action games because you’re a gamer. You’re also a fan of the horror film genre. You know the all the great villains from Jason Voorhees to Quetzalcoatl.

    •You’ll have an existing presence and experience on major gaming forums, as well as experience in social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Tumblr, Pinterest, and their supporting 1st/3rd party applications because, again, you’re a gamer.

    •You’ll be well-versed in online game forum etiquette, and be genuinely interested in assisting, engaging, and working with our valued players and customers. You’re savvy with sound judgement.
