Join the University of Illinois Chicago (UIC) Illuminate Internship Program to gain valuable, hands-on experience while contributing to priority projects and initiatives. Interns may assist with research, planning, program development, and other organizational needs.

Program Details:

Open to students of all majors, including social sciences, business, public health, education, STEM, arts, and humanities

$4,000 stipend per semester, paid directly by UIC

Typical commitment of 15–20 hours per week for one semester

Internship formats may be in-person, hybrid, or virtual, depending on organizational capacity

One intern per organization per semester

Internships are limited to one semester

Flexible work from home options available.
