Job Description

Manufacturing company needs a Human Resources Manager who will be responsible for all aspects of human resources and EHs compliance. This position provides HR oversight to a company of about 100 people at a factory just east of the Memphis area.

The client seeks an experienced manager who is an effective communicator and capable of working independently. The selected candidate will partner with plant management to meet corporate objectives and enhance plant productivity and morale. Will have human resources oversight for both salaried and hourly employees.

• Responsible for recruitment, employee relations, employee development, training, and employee communications
• Plan, implement, and evaluate HR policies, practices, and procedures.
• Responsible for compensation and salary administration
• Ensure compliance with all employment-related federal, state and local government laws.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations regarding employee health and safety. Handle environmental reporting.
• Manage administration and communication of benefit programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum three years’ experience as a human resources manager, with well-rounded earlier generalist experience, including EHS responsibilities.
• Must have experience working in a manufacturing environment,
• Should have knowledge about OSHA and safety training.
