FIELD ENGINEER XR/US/Dexa REMOTE IN THE USA
Role Description This is a full-time role based in the Chattanooga, TN area for a Field Service Engineer. You will be joining the small iron team, specifically regarding x-ray, ultrasound, and mammography. The ideal candidate will possess a strong core knowledge with Siemens and GE products. The Field Service Engineer will be responsible for performing equipment installations, preventive maintenance, repairs, and technical troubleshooting on medical imaging devices. The role includes providing outstanding customer service for facilities, addressing technical inquiries, and ensuring operational efficiency of equipment. By diagnosing and resolving technical issues, the Field Service Engineer plays a key role in supporting the industry’s equipment needs.
Your Expertise: MUST have experience IMAGING EQUIPMENT minimum of two years- Only apply if you have these qualifications ● Maintenance of electronic equipment, either in or out of a healthcare environment. Siemens and GE ● Experience with MS Office applications, e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook. ● Desire to work with our latest technology and learn about new software and hardware solutions. ● Passion to deliver customer centric solutions. ● Ability to work independently with minimum supervision, a self-starter and manage own schedule. ● Flexibility to travel for day-to-day work and required company training.
Required Skills, Education and Experience for this position: ● Associate degree in electronics or equivalent combination of education and experience; BSEE/BSEET/BSME/BSMET preferred. ● Ability to understand and apply electronic, mechanical, and networking theory to install, diagnose, and repair equipment, including knowledge and use of all necessary tools and test equipment. ● Expertise in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and solving complex technical issues. ● Strong customer service skills through clear verbal communication with customers that explains the diagnosis of the event. ● Must be able to be compliant with hospital credentialing requirements. ● Ability to work professionally with all levels of hospital organization staff. ● Excellent organizational, time management, written and verbal communication skills. ● Ability to travel regionally 75% of the time. ● Ability to function within and support a team environment and build strong working relationships, ● Problem-solving skills, ability to evaluate situations and prioritize factors in decision making.
