    Job Summary

    Do you have a passion for helping people to look and feel their best? If so, we are a plastic surgery practice in South Miami that wants to hear from you! We are seeking a licensed esthetician to join our team. In addition, an applicant who also is a licensed massage therapist with experience in post operative massage therapy would be a plus and provide you more opportunities.

    Job Overview

    As a medical esthetician, you will introduce clients to a variety of skincare products and services and work with them to achieve their skin health goals. Clients will rely on you for skin care product recommendations and treatments, including deep pore cleansing facials, chemical peels ,microdermabrasion, micro needling and select body treatments.

    This is a fantastic opportunity for an licensed medical esthetician to grow their skill set and help our patients with their non-surgical anti-aging treatments. License in massage therapy is a plus. Initial position will be part time while growing your client base.

    Responsibilities

    Provide esthetic non-invasive skin and body treatments and services.

    Advise clients on skin care options and best practices. Analyze skin types and make proper recommendations

    Greet clients in a warm and friendly manner and develop rapport

    Maintain an organized schedule, including scheduling, confirming, and canceling appointments

    Ensure all equipment and treatment areas are cleaned and maintained to meet or exceed safety standards

    Keep an inventory of skin care products for sale and products used in the room

    Gather patients medical history and inquire about contraindications and proceed accordingly

    Perform follow-up calls on existing and potential patients and promote retail product sales

    Participate in marketing, neworking and membership promotion events

    Qualifications

    Valid esthetician’s license

    Proven experience as an esthetician is preferred

    Experience in the use of skin care equipment such as Micro needling, PRP, Facials, and Chemical Peels is preferred. We will have a 2 to 3 month training period with our senior esthetician to learn how to use other types of equipment such as the JetPeel. Experience in lymphatic massage therapy to the face and body is a plus.

    Deep understanding of skin care techniques

    Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish is required.

    High level of ethics

    Billingual in English and Spanish
