IMIDEX is a venture-backed software as a medical device (SaMD) company that utilizes computer vision technology and developed diagnostic algorithms to help radiologists detect lung cancer in chest X-rays. IMIDEX is comprised of a select team of data scientists, clinicians, and engineers on a mission to save lives. We are looking for EMR Data Integration Engineer that is: a creative problem solver, committed to excellence, determined, ethical, persuasive, scrappy, fun, and passionate about our mission. We are looking for someone with a can-do attitude and disciplined at attaining goals.

AS OUR HEALTHCARE DATA ARCHITECT, YOU WILL…

• Work with our data science team to develop data adapters and various integration technologies to electronic medical records, RIS, PACs, and other data sources.
• Work with our data strategist to batch extract medical data from external data sources for the training of our AI model.
• Architect data storage warehouses and be heavily involved in all aspects of pipe-lining data in a real-time hospital setting. 
• Develop algorithms to anonymize identify and cleanse data errors.
• Develop and define our ETL process to quickly and efficiently access medical data in real-time.

The opening is a full-time position in Denver, Colorado that will be compensated based on skills and experience. Strong preference for candidates with existing healthcare domain knowledge. The ability to work remotely will be considered for exceptional candidates.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 5+ years experience building a data warehouse
• Proven experience with PACs integration
• Experience integrating with one or more of the following electronic medical record vendors: Epic, Cerner, or Meditech
• Elegant and efficient programming ability
• RDBMS (SQL Server) 
• Practical knowledge of healthcare data standards (e.g. HL7, FHIR, ICD, DRG, HCPCS, LOINC) 
• Expert with SQL

EDUCATION:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or other relevant degrees.

LOCATION

IMIDEX is headquartered in Denver, CO, in the River North (RiNo) neighborhood and the Catalyst Health Technology Innovation Center. The position is at our headquarters in Denver; however, we will seriously consider remote candidates that have demonstrated the ability to work in a teaming environment remotely and would be able to occasionally travel to Denver (after COVID conditions have improved) or consider moving in the next year.
