Key Responsibilities:

- Provide personal care services such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting in a respectful and professional manner.
- Assist clients with mobility and physical therapies as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Prepare and serve meals, ensuring that clients receive proper nutrition as per their dietary needs.
- Offer companionship and engage in conversation with clients to promote emotional support and mental wellness.
- Monitor and report any changes in clients' health status or behaviors to the supervising nurse or healthcare provider.
- Help with household tasks, including light cleaning, laundry, and grocery shopping, to maintain a safe and comfortable living environment.
- Maintain accurate and updated records of services provided and clients' progress.

Qualifications:

- Valid HHA certification or equivalent is required.
- Proficiency in Creole language is mandatory to effectively communicate with clients and their families.
- Previous experience in a caregiving role, preferably in a home health setting, is highly desirable.
- Ability to demonstrate empathy, patience, and a strong commitment to client service.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within the designated area.
