About Us:

Mathur Law Offices, P.C. is a dynamic, medium-sized law firm specializing in immigration law. We are seeking an Immigration Attorney with two or more years of experience to join our team. Our firm works on a billable hour system, and as an associate, you will have the opportunity to manage your own caseload and represent clients in a variety of immigration matters.

Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in a range of immigration matters, including family-based petitions, employment visas, asylum cases, deportation defense, and naturalization
• Manage and develop a personal caseload, from initial consultation through final resolution
• Draft and file petitions, motions, and applications for immigration benefits
• Advise clients on their legal rights, options, and the immigration process
• Prepare and represent clients at USCIS interviews, immigration court hearings, and appeals
• Stay up-to-date on changes in immigration laws and policies to provide accurate advice and representation
• Conduct legal research and prepare case strategies for both defensive and affirmative immigration cases
• Collaborate with legal staff and clients to ensure case success

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in immigration law
• Active license to practice law in Texas
• Strong knowledge of immigration law and procedures
• Experience handling a variety of immigration cases, including family-based, employment-based, and deportation defense
• Strong legal research, writing, and communication skills
• Must bill between 130-180 hours per month to meet target compensation
• Excellent problem-solving and client relationship management skills
