    The Law Office of Maria Hajar is seeking a full-time Immigration Attorney to join our team in Bellevue, WA. Our firm handles family-based, humanitarian-based, and removal defense cases. The ideal candidate is a compassionate and detail-oriented lawyer who can manage a varied caseload with the support of experienced paralegals and legal assistants. Responsibilities: • Prepare and file applications with the appropriate agencies. • Represent clients at USCIS interviews. • Represent clients in removal proceedings before the Immigration Court, including master calendar hearings and individual merits hearings. • Prepare legal briefs and motions, and conduct thorough legal research on immigration statutes, regulations, and case law. • Maintain regular contact with clients to provide case updates and cultivate a compassionate, client-focused approach. • Work closely with our legal support staff to efficiently manage cases. Qualifications: • Juris Doctor (J.D.) or LLM, and admission to the bar in at least one U.S. state. • 1–2 years of experience or exposure to immigration law strongly preferred • Strong legal research and writing skills. • Strong verbal communication skills. • Bilingual or multilingual preferred. • Ability to manage multiple cases, deadlines, and tasks in a fast-paced environment. • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. • Client-service mindset and ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds professionally and compassionately. • Ability to work collaboratively within a team. • A proactive, self-starter attitude with a willingness to take ownership of cases while also seeking guidance when needed. • Comfortable using case management software, legal research tools, and standard office software. • Must be available to work on-site at our Bellevue, WA office during standard business hours. • Willingness to occasionally travel locally (e.g., to Seattle Immigration Court or USCIS field office) as required for hearings or interviews. Compensation: $80,000 – $100,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Performance and employee referral bonuses
