Responsibilities: • Perform research, draft briefs, pleadings, and motions • Advise clients by weighing available options toward a successful outcome and plan a course of action • Oversee paralegals, law clerks, and administrative staff • Appear in court on behalf of clients and argue motions during legal proceedings • Analyze client needs, identify solutions, and determine case strategies • Handle and lead a variety of immigration matters, including family-based petitions, removal defense, asylum, waivers, and naturalization. • Represent clients before USCIS, EOIR, and federal courts. • Develop systems and best practices for the immigration division. • Supervise and mentor associates, paralegals, and junior staff. • Collaborate with firm leadership to scale immigration operations across multiple locations. • Contribute to community outreach, firm marketing, and client education initiatives through seminars, videos, and written content. Qualifications: • Required Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school; representation of clients for at least 2 years a plus • Strong knowledge of legal research programs such as Westlaw and Lexis products is required • Must be able to handle heavy caseload with little supervision • Prior experience working in a law firm for a minimum of 1-2 years required • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite is necessary • MINIMUM 5 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE PRACTICING IMMIGRATION. • J.D. from an accredited law school and active Florida Bar membership (or eligibility). • Fluency in English and Spanish required. • Strong advocacy, case management, and leadership skills. • Growth mindset and comfort working in a fast-paced, expanding firm. • Business-minded spirit — you take ownership and deliver results. Compensation: $110,000 - $130,000 yearly Plus Bonuses
