About the Role:

Aziz Law Firm PC is looking for a talented and driven Bilingual Immigration Paralegal to join their growing team in Charlotte, NC. Responsibilities:

Prepare and file immigration petitions, applications, and supporting documentation (visas, green cards, asylum, naturalization, etc.)

Communicate directly with clients in English and a second language to gather case information and provide status updates

Draft correspondence, legal briefs, and cover letters for attorney review

Manage and maintain case files, deadlines, and docket calendars using case management software

Conduct client intake interviews and assess immigration needs under attorney supervision

Coordinate with government agencies including USCIS, DOL, and immigration courts

Research immigration laws, regulations, and policy updates to support case strategy

Requirements:

Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (or another language) — written and verbal

1+ years of experience in immigration law or a paralegal role preferred

Familiarity with USCIS forms, immigration processes, and federal/state filing procedures

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Associate's or Bachelor's degree, paralegal certificate, or equivalent work experience preferred

Compassionate, client-focused demeanor with a commitment to serving diverse communities
