  • Responsibilities

    We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Immigration Paralegal to support a growing legal practice. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can manage multiple case types, and is confident working directly with attorneys and clients.

    The ideal candidate brings hands-on immigration case experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to move cases forward efficiently with minimal supervision.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Prepare, review, and file immigration petitions and applications, including:
      • Family-based petitions (I-130, I-485)
      • Employment-based petitions (H-1B, PERM, etc.)
      • Adjustment of Status, Consular Processing, and Naturalization (N-400)
    • Draft legal documents, forms, and supporting letters
    • Communicate with clients to gather documentation and provide case updates
    • Maintain accurate and organized case files (digital and physical)
    • Track deadlines and ensure timely filings with USCIS and other agencies
    • Assist attorneys with case strategy, research, and documentation
    • Respond to Requests for Evidence (RFEs) and follow up on case statuses

    Qualifications

    • 2+ years of immigration paralegal experience (REQUIRED)
    • Strong knowledge of USCIS forms, processes, and timelines
    • Experience handling both family-based and employment-based cases preferred
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office and case management systems
    • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
    • Experience in a small to mid-sized law firm environment
    • Familiarity with immigration case management software
