Job Description
Immigration law firm in Newton, MA seeks a full-time (35-40 hours) experienced business immigration paralegal to work onsite two to three days a week and remotely for the rest of the week. The position involves working independently while at the worksite.
The paralegal will prepare all types of employment and family-based immigration cases, including adjustment of status cases, PERM labor certifications, immigrant visa petitions (including NIWs, outstanding researcher, etc. ) and H-1Bs. The paralegal will use an online immigration portal (INSZoom) and government websites to prepare LCAs, prevailing wage requests and PERMs.
The candidate must have a bachelor’s degree and at least two years of experience as a paralegal specializing in business immigration, excellent writing skills, strong organizational skills, be very detail-oriented and be able to work well under pressure and with deadlines.
The candidate must have authorization to work permanently in the US.
Wages are on an hourly basis. Guaranteed 35-40 hours per week.
