    Immigration Paralegal Salary Range: $50,000 - $60,000 depending on experience We are a top-tier immigration law office in Jacksonville, FL, searching for a paralegal professional who can meet with clients for intake meetings, compile necessary documentation, draft and file legal paperwork under the supervision of our Attorneys, and uphold ongoing correspondence with clients. Ideally, you should possess prior experience as a Case Manager, Paralegal, or Legal Assistant in an Immigration law firm. While we are prepared to provide training on our internal procedures, you should have fundamental immigration law knowledge and Paralegal experience to seamlessly integrate into the role. Responsibilities: • Meet with clients to explain our process and identify what is expected of them • Gather and prepare documentation • Prepare legal documents under the direction of an Attorney • Submit legal documents to the proper agencies • Schedule appointments and manage calendars with accuracy • Perform basic administrative tasks – draft documents, copy, scan, file • Maintain communication with potential and existing clients in person, by phone, and by email • Manage paper and electronic files • Back up team members when they need a hand or a day off • Research legal issues and procedures • Communication with immigration officials and opposing parties • Create reports and maintain client databases Qualifications: • Ideally fluent in Spanish • Demonstrates respect and care towards clients, embodying warmth and friendliness • Passionate about helping immigrants achieve their American dream • Proficient in communication via phone, in-person, and email • Skilled in building relationships with various personalities and authority levels • Recognizes opportunities for organization amidst chaos • An enthusiastic learner who quickly adapts to new tasks and systems • Values accuracy by proofreading work and ensuring attention to detail • Upholds client confidentiality standards • Takes initiative and responsibility once trained • A team player dedicated to the firm's mission and goals Compensation: $50,000 - $60,000 yearly based on experience
