In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Monitoring the delivery of patient care through the utilization of the nursing process.

• Using physicians orders, established policies and procedures, established professional standards, and administrative hospital-wide policies, & always maintaining quality care for the patient and the department.

• Leading a 28-bed unit with 44 FTE s.

Required Education & Qualifications of the Med/Surg Manager:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, BSN desired, MSN preferred.

• Current CA nursing license required.

• BLS required.

• 80% score of the medical center pharmacology exam.

• 2+ years in a Med/Surg leadership role.

• 5+ years of experience in a clinical setting with recent acute care experience.

Salary: $138k (mid point), depending on years experience, with great benefits!
