We’re working with a client who is in need of a super dynamic OR Registered Nurse who can work days in Lewisville, Texas, to join one of the highest regarded hospitals in the area.

If this role is for you, you would be responsible for:

• Assessing the operative nursing care needs of patients, planning interventions and evaluating outcomes of care.

• Providing care, which is appropriate for age specific (pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics), the developmental and safety needs, the planned procedure, and the anesthetic agent used.

• Communicating and educating the patient and/or their family members and/or significant others regarding events pertinent to their care.

• Anticipating and planning for the needs of the surgical team and coordinating the care provided in the Operating Room while maintaining an aseptic and safe environment.

Qualifications and Education for the OR RN:

• Current Texas RN license or RN compact license required.

• BSN required.

• Current BLS from American Heart Association.

• ACLS preferred.

• Minimum of 1 year of recent Operating Room experience in an acute care setting.
