    Job Responsibilities:

    • Responsible for following up on all delinquent accounts
    • Provide customer service regarding payment and any collection disputes
    • Process credit card payments and bank deposits
    • Process customer credit applications, trade and bank references
    • Maintain an accurate aging report
    • Accountable for meeting department goals and any performance metrics
    • Process credit memos and customer account reconciliations
    • Assist with month-end closing
    • Prepare and maintain various reports
    • Maintain compliance with company policies, practices and procedures.
    • Set up customer accounts
    • Weekly and monthly reporting to the direct supervisor
    • Other duties as assigned

    Job Requirements:

    · Knowledge of Billing and Collection procedures

    · Minimum of 3 years of experience in corporate collections

    · Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains preferred, but not required

    · Intermediate excel skills (pivot tables and v-lookup)

    · Strong analytical and reconciliation skills

    · Experience with big box retailers

    · Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects

    · Superb attention to detail and goal oriented

    · Work independently and take ownership of all projects assigned with minimal supervision

    · Ability to work in a fast pace environment

    Dutie(s):

    • Generating financial statements and A/R reports
    • Developing, implementing, and maintaining A/R accounting policies and procedures
    • Responding to customer questions and resolving issues
    • Treasury functions such as bank deposits, manual wire payments, and credit card transactions
    • Posting payments to the general ledger and conducting daily cash reconciliation
    • Analyzing customer payment plan, payment history, and credit line
    • Collecting customer payments in accordance with payment due dates
    • Making collection calls on outstanding accounts
    • Comply with federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations
