Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for following up on all delinquent accounts
- Provide customer service regarding payment and any collection disputes
- Process credit card payments and bank deposits
- Process customer credit applications, trade and bank references
- Maintain an accurate aging report
- Accountable for meeting department goals and any performance metrics
- Process credit memos and customer account reconciliations
- Assist with month-end closing
- Prepare and maintain various reports
- Maintain compliance with company policies, practices and procedures.
- Set up customer accounts
- Weekly and monthly reporting to the direct supervisor
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
· Knowledge of Billing and Collection procedures
· Minimum of 3 years of experience in corporate collections
· Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains preferred, but not required
· Intermediate excel skills (pivot tables and v-lookup)
· Strong analytical and reconciliation skills
· Experience with big box retailers
· Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
· Superb attention to detail and goal oriented
· Work independently and take ownership of all projects assigned with minimal supervision
· Ability to work in a fast pace environment

Dutie(s):
- Generating financial statements and A/R reports
- Developing, implementing, and maintaining A/R accounting policies and procedures
- Responding to customer questions and resolving issues
- Treasury functions such as bank deposits, manual wire payments, and credit card transactions
- Posting payments to the general ledger and conducting daily cash reconciliation
- Analyzing customer payment plan, payment history, and credit line
- Collecting customer payments in accordance with payment due dates
- Making collection calls on outstanding accounts
- Comply with federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations
