Our client is an established healthcare company in Portland and they are looking for a full-time Supply Chain Coordinator to join their growing team.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate supply chain activities for assigned clinics within the metro area, including purchasing, receiving, distribution, and inventory management.
- Procure medical supplies, equipment, and pharmaceuticals in a timely and accurate manner to meet clinic needs.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and track stock levels to prevent shortages and excess inventory.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies as necessary.
- Coordinate the distribution of supplies and equipment to clinics, ensuring timely delivery and optimal resource utilization.
- Perform administrative tasks such as data entry, record-keeping, and documentation related to supply chain management.
- Utilize ERP systems to update inventory records, process purchase orders, and generate reports.
- Communicate with suppliers and vendors to negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards in supply chain operations.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains, collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement best practices.
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of purchasing processes, inventory management principles, and distribution logistics.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
