    As an established consulting firm, Impact CFO Services is dedicated to empowering businesses through strategic financial management. We are seeking an experienced Controller to plan and direct the accounting operations for our diverse portfolio of clients.

    Candidates must be willing to travel or be onsite to client locations (typically within the Portland, OR and Vancouver, WA areas).

    Responsibilities

    • Direct operations of Impact CFO Services' clients' Accounting Departments, covering accounts payable, accounts receivable, banking, and payroll.
    • Oversee and address training needs of clients' Accounting staff/team members.
    • Maintain documented accounting policies and procedures, implementing controls to minimize risk.
    • Supervise the production of periodic financial reports, ensuring compliance with accounting principles or international financial reporting standards.
    • Recommend benchmarks for measuring company performance.
    • Generate annual budgets and forecasts, reporting significant differences to management.
    • Provide financial analysis, emphasizing capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract negotiations.
    • Collaborate with external auditors and tax CPAs to provide necessary information for annual audits and tax returns.
    • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government requirements.
    • Execute other related duties as necessary or assigned.
    • Travel to client locations as required by client agreements.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration; CPA or CMA preferred.
    • Minimum seven years of relevant experience in accounting or financial management.
    • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
    • Proficient in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and risk management.
    • Strategic thinker with the ability to recommend benchmarks and report budget differences.
    • Willingness to travel or be onsite to client locations as needed
