    Impact Selector provides the global oil & gas industry with Intelligent Conveyance Technologies™ significantly improving toolstring deployment efficiencies, greatly reduce major, costly operating risks during well intervention and formation evaluation operations. Impact Selector focuses on wireline and slickline conveyance via a portfolio of tools and software including technologically advanced impact jars, market leading roller systems, sensor subs and wireline simulation software.

    We are currently seeking an Assistant Controller with at 3 to 5 years Proven experience as assistant controller with the desire to prove to the Company that you are the Controller needed.. The ideal candidate will be self-managing and able to work well within a small team. We highly value someone who understands the how and why of underlying business functions and the relationship to the big picture. In depth cost accounting and auditing knowledge, along with Big four experience is desired.

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

    Monthly journal entries as assigned such as posting payroll and cash journal entries.

    Perform bank reconciliations. Close AR and AP.

    Enter journal entries for various month-end accruals and expense prepaids.

    Validate month-end balances against various external schedules and adjust when necessary.

    Perform general ledger account reconciliations as needed.

    Assist in month-end reconciliation of inventory and WIP to general ledger.

    Maintain sales commissions worksheets necessary for salespeople.

    Post payments made to customer accounts and resolve discrepancies.

    Work closely with salesmen and parts department regarding invoicing.

    Maintain accounts receivable customer files and records

    Payroll processing and financial associated duties.

    Ensure the Company’s accounting processes and procedures are sound, with proper internal controls, in order to produce reliable and timely financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP

    Ensure compliance with all applicable tax requirements in each jurisdiction in which the Company operates

    REQUIREMENTS

    3 to 5 years Proven experience as assistant controller or other similar position.

    Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.

    CPA Preferred

    Strong computer skills. Proficient in the use of MS Office Suite.

    Background in the use of ERP software (Discovery or similar).

    Strong organizational & communication skills.

    Solid understanding of cost accounting and auditing.

    Strong knowledge of international accounting with experience in consolidations preferred.

    Experience with tax returns with international accounting consolidations

    Solid knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and regulations

    Excellent knowledge of accounting and financial processes (budgeting, financial closure, reporting etc.)

    Understanding of data analysis and forecasting
