Job Description

IMPERIAL UTILITIES & SUSTAINABILITY, INC SEEKING A COMMERCIAL AND RESIDENTIAL ENERGY BROKER TO JOIN OUR TEAM. IN ADDITION TO OFFERING ELECTRICAL AND GAS SERVICES, THE ENERGY BROKER WILL OFFER OTHER PRODUCTS THAT WILL BUILD PROFESSIONAL RELATIONSHIPS WITH CURRENT PERCEPTIVE CLIENTS. 

• SELL ENERGY CONTRACTS TO COMMERCIAL AND RESIDENTIAL ENTITIES

• CONDUCT COLD AND WARM CALLS

• PROVIDE INFORMATION ABOUT PRODUCTS AND SERVICES PROVIDED BY IMPERIAL UTILITIES & SUSTAINABILITY, INC.

• IDENTIFY AND DEVELOP NEW RELATIONSHIPS WITH POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS.

• DEVELOP AND MAINTAIN EXISTING RELATIONSHIPS WITH EXISTING CUSTOMERS.

• COLLECT AND UNDERSTAND DATA FOR PRICING.

• HOLD AN INTERMEDIATE UNDERSTANDING OF SERVICES AND INDUSTRY LANGUAGE IN ORDER TO SPEAK INTELLIGENTLY ABOUT THE SERVICES AND CUSTOMER’S NEEDS.

• CREATE, WRITE, AND PROVIDE QUOTES TO CURRENT AND POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS

• OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED.

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• 3-5 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE AS ENERGY BROKER
• EVIDENCE OF “BUSINESS TO CUSTOMER” RELATIONSHIP BUILDING SKILLS.
• MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE IS BENEFICIAL, NOT REQUIRED.
• INTERMEDIATE PROFICIENCY OF EXCEL, POWERPOINT, WORD AND OUTLOOK
• EXCELLENT WRITTEN AND VERBAL COMMUNICATION SKILLS
• MASTERY OF TIME MANAGEMENT
• SELF-MOTIVATED AND SELF-MANAGED

SALARY

• $50,000 BASE + COMMISSION UP TO $150,000
