    IBT Apps is currently looking to recruit a suitable candidate for the position of Implementation Lead. This person is responsible for driving fast, efficient, and delightful onboarding for new and existing customers, working in partnership with customer support, sales team, and development to own the strategic onboarding process including managing timelines, project, stakeholder alignment, and expectations setting across internal and external teams.

    We have employees all over the US but we’re very comfortable working remotely. This position can be based out of our Cedar Park, Texas office or remotely in FL, IL, IN, GA, ND, OH, OK, or TX. Our work style is results oriented, pragmatic and rational. We also prefer simple over complex.

    Job Description

    The Implementation Lead is responsible for coordinating and leading cross-functional teams, working with the Project Manager to define project scope and objectives, and ensuring successful project delivery. They will serve as the primary contact for customer onboarding projects, ensuring deliverables are met on time and within budget, and acting as a liaison between clients and internal departments throughout the implementation lifecycle.

    Duties

    Onboarding & Implementation (Client-Facing)

    Own and lead client onboarding engagements from kickoff through go live.

    Serve as the primary point of contact during implementation, ensuring clear expectations and communication.

    Facilitate internal resource coordination across development, operations, and support teams.

    Drive seamless onboarding experience that enables successful product adoption and client satisfaction.

    Cross-Functional Collaboration & Bridging Role

    Bridge the strategic and operational gap between Implementation and Support teams.

    Coordinate the internal handoff process to ensure continuity of service and context.

    Partner with support team to identify recurring implementation-related issues and address upstream.

    Document and transfer relevant project information and client history to Support.

    Support Team Enablement & Future Oversight

    Collaborate with Support to continuously improve onboarding-related documentation, knowledge bases, and SOPs.

    Participate in the development of support workflows for new product features and rollouts.

    In time, grow into a leadership role overseeing both Implementation and Support team performance and process alignment.

    Process Improvement & Project Tracking

    Maintain accurate implementation records and timelines via Zoho or other project tools.

    Identify opportunities to improve onboarding timelines, resource allocation, and client touchpoints.

    Collaborate with development teams to influence user stories based on client onboarding insights.

    Skills & Requirements

    Academic degrees don’t carry too much weight with us, but they make statements about your work ethics. You should demonstrate a strong work ethic and commitment to maintaining high ethical standards.

    Experience leading client onboarding or implementations projects, preferably in SaaS or FinTech environments.

    Strong ability to coordinate across cross-functional teams to ensure alignment.

    Experience using project tools such as Zoho, Jira, MS Project, etc.

    Excellent communication, relationship-building, and time management skills.

    Familiarity with the financial industry is advantageous as it provides context and understanding of the industry's specific requirements and challenges.
