    Job Description

    Risant Health’s Integration Management and Performance (IMP) team, headed by the Leader of Integration Management and Performance, is responsible for supporting the integration of new organizations into Risant Health and realizing value creation opportunities across Risant affiliated organizations, including synergies, Definitive Agreement (DA) commitments, and Communities of Practice. The IMP Project Manager reports to a Program Manager on the Integration Management and Performance (IMP) team. The Project Manager will facilitate project specific integration planning and execution and support coordination of value realization efforts.

    ** POSITION SUMMARY**

    The position reports to a Program Manager within the Integration Management and Performance (IMP) team. The Integration Management and Performance team is mandated to facilitate the integration and value realization efforts of specific functions of new organizations into Risant Health. The successful integration of Risant Health and new organizations, paired with the successful realization of value creation opportunities, is a strategic imperative for Risant Health, including expanding the affordability and quality of care to members across the country while simultaneously fueling growth.

    This role serves a key project management role in the development and realization of Risant Health’s vision, by enabling successful integrations and providing support to realize new value across Risant affiliates. The specific definition of success will vary by Risant affiliated organization but will include ensuring consistency in key risk management practices, leveraging scale, sharing best practices, and building new opportunities together.

    The position engages directly with executives and management across Risant Health, KP, and Risant Health affiliated organizations, facilitating all stakeholders in the joint mission of realizing strategic initiatives within the role's purview. This role will partner with a variety of other program/project managers, Health Plan leadership, Hospital/Medical leadership, Medical Groups, and key strategic partners to execute strategic initiatives that contribute significantly to the continued development of RH through integrating additional organizations and realizing the corresponding synergistic opportunities.

    ** PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES**

    Principal responsibilities of the IMP Project Manager include:

    • Core project / leader management: Coordinates and partners with Risant and KP stakeholders and relevant Risant affiliated organization leadership, tracks all integration and value realization initiatives within their purview, and creates an execution approach for each effort through developing work plans to meet key deadlines. These include: * Integration:
      • Provide end to end project management for workstreams and initiatives.
      • Facilitate multidisciplinary teams, gather data, perform research, support analytics and identification of best practices.
      • Prepare reporting, workstream, and SteerCo updates, and other program readout materials.
      • Record and escalate risks to Program Manager and Leader of Integration Management and Performance, test assumptions and findings.
        • Value Realization
      • Support the tracking and sizing of synergies and provide project management support ad-hoc to functions working on synergies during peak periods.
      • Provide project management support for Definitive Agreement commitments, such as employment expansion assessments and community benefit.
      • Coordinate Community of Practice meetings and engagement, communicating with contacts across Risant affiliated organizations.
    • Timeline and risk management: Manages workplan, progress and reporting for workstreams in their purview. Elevate risks, test assumptions and findings, coordinate alignment across assigned workstreams.
    • Project direction setting : Influences the prioritization of deliverables and facilitates decisions necessary for project delivery by partnering with relevant stakeholders from Risant Health, Risant affiliated organizations, and the KP enterprise.
    • Stakeholder management : Builds relationships with stakeholders (including program / project managers, functional leaders, executives) from across Risant Health, Risant Health affiliated organizations and the KP enterprise to facilitate change management, track initiative progress, and respond to concerns. Acts with a service-minded approach, akin to an internal consultant, ensuring a client-focused mindset to understand and address the unique needs and expectations of each stakeholder.
    • Independent and team oriented : Completes work assignments autonomously and supports learning in others by developing information, resources, advice, and expertise with coworkers and members across functions and organizations. Adapts and learns from changes and feedback, demonstrating flexibility in approaches to work.

    ** SHORT AND LONG-TERM ACCOUNTABILITIES**

    The IMP Project Manager will be responsible for ensuring that the work under their purview is delivered within defined program timelines and expectations. Specific measures of success will include, but are not limited to:

    • Meet with the Program Manager and the broader IMP team to provide workstream updates and escalate risks as necessary.
    • Co-develop collaboration guidelines and identify potential risks and dependencies with team members to set expectations and ensure thoughtful, proactive communication.
    • Co-develop materials for Integration Steering Committee with team members.
    • Track progress against the workplan and re-prioritize tasks as necessary.
    • Coordinate with Program EA to schedule team meetings.
    • Meet with external stakeholders across Risant Health affiliated organizations and KP to address blockers and move initiatives/workstreams forward and manage their concerns as needed.

    ** KEY WORKING RELATIONSHIPS**

    The IMP Project Manager will be responsible for maintaining strong working relationships with leaders at Risant, KP, critical vendors, and other entities.

    Internal working relationships:

    • Leader of Integration Management and Performance: Report progress, solicit input on materials, and escalate any risks.
    • IMP Program Managers: Co-develop materials for Integration Steering Committee and collaborate closely on workstream management.
    • Other Integration Project Managers: Share learnings and best practices; collaborate on any shared opportunities.
    • IMP Program Executive Assistant: Coordinate meeting scheduling and onboarding of team members to collaboration tools.

    Risant Health affiliated organizations working relationships:

    • New Risant Member Management Leads: Coordinate on integration planning and value realization efforts.
    • Risant affiliated Organization and KP Executives: Establish and maintain relationships with Risant affiliated organization and KP executives to facilitate integration planning and execution.

    External working relationships:

    • Third-Party Vendors: Coordinate with vendors to ensure smooth integration of systems and processes.

    Required:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Business, Social Sciences, Public Administration, Operations, or related field (flexible).

    Preferred:

    • Master’s Degree

    Licenses, Certifications, or Other Essential Qualifications

    Preferred:

    • Project management professional (PMP) or equivalent project / program management certification / education preferred.

    This position has a preliminary projected target base salary of $115,000 - $151,800., which is subject to change as additional market data is acquired. The position is also eligible for incentive compensation, comprehensive wellness, time off, savings and retirement benefits, as well as relocation support, as applicable. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of the total compensation package for employees at Risant Health.
