The Opportunity Material Handler is responsible for physically receiving, handling and effectively manage inbound/outbound product and material shipments using authorized and appropriate equipment, excluding forklift. Essential duties & responsibilities include but not limited to: * Unloads/loads product utilizing hand truck, pallet jack, shrink wrapper and other material handling equipment and tools * Utilizes hand tools to move, stack and retrieve product * Accurately positions and locates the product in proper bin locations * Completes product/bin location forms, packing slips, and other required documentation to account for product * Provide assistance to other warehouse areas of operation when required Minimum Qualifications * High school diploma / GED or 1+ year experience operating in a material handling or product receiving operation * Capable of accurately completing proper documentation using a computer and/or paper * Capable of manual labor * Previous experience as a warehouse material handler (preferred) * Familiarity with hand jacks/shrink wrap machines (preferred) Physical Demands * Predictable and reliable attendance * Normal, hand-eye coordination and dexterity * Vision corrected to legal motor vehicle license capability * Maneuver among product inventory (floor to ceiling) * Stand and walk for extended periods of time (unassisted) * Consistently lift/maneuver articles up to 50 lbs (unassisted) * Occasionally stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, crawl (unassisted) Job Environment * Primary job location is a medium to a large product storage/ receiving/shipping warehouse * Occasionally exposed to seasonal, outdoor weather conditions * Readily exposed to machinery with moving parts and vibrations; product movement vehicles (battery and gasoline powered) exhaust * Moderate noise level (not a hazardous hearing zone) * Day shift schedule from Monday to Friday.
