About the Role:

Alexandria International Inc is looking for a detail-oriented Import Analyst to join our team in Adairsville, GA! In this role, you'll play a key part in managing and optimizing our international import operations, ensuring smooth and compliant movement of goods across borders. Responsibilities:

Analyze and process import documentation including commercial invoices, bills of lading, and customs entries

Ensure compliance with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) regulations and trade laws

Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and carriers to facilitate timely shipment clearance

Monitor and track inbound international shipments and resolve delays or discrepancies

Classify goods using Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) codes and manage duty assessments

Maintain accurate import records and prepare reports on shipment status and compliance metrics

Collaborate with internal teams including purchasing, logistics, and finance to support supply chain operations

Requirements:

Experience with customs entry filing and working with licensed customs brokers is a plus

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with trade management software is a plus

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail

Excellent communication and organizational skills to manage multiple shipments simultaneously
