HIGH LEVEL OVERVIEW

The Import Compliance Manager will assist in implementing import policies, procedures, training, and internal audit to ensure compliant, efficient, and cost-effective import strategy.

This is an in-office position for candidates near Fort Myers, FL.

Relocation assistance is available.

EXPECTATIONS

Thorough understanding of CBP and FDA import regulations and systems ACE, AES, ITACS

Conduct trade compliance audits to ensure accurate import entry submissions

Develop global import policies and procedures to drive efficiency

Establish and monitor broker service providers KPIs

Monitor changes in import regulations; make recommendations based on import impact

Act as SME for import compliance related issues with internal and external partners

Lead cross-functional projects to support trade compliance

ESSENTIALS

Strong knowledge of HTS classification, Country of Origin, Valuation, FTA, & PGAs

Customs Broker’s License preferred

Bachelor’s Degree required

10 years import compliance experience, with at least 2 years leading a team

SAP GTS Experience preferred

Project and Program Management experience

Proficient with MS Office- Excel, Visio, PowerPoint
