REQUIRED SKILLS AND MINIMUM YEARS OF EXPERIENCE
SPECIFIC LICENSURES AND CERTIFICATIONS/REGISTRATIONS REQUIRED:
ARRT, CRT, BLS, ACLS, etc
GRADUATE OF ACCREDITED APPROVED PROGRAM FOR RESPIRATORY CARE WITH MINNESOTA LICENSURE.. BLS, ACLS, NRP
SHIFT OR SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS:
DAYS AND NIGHTS. BOTH 8 AND 12 HOUR SHIFTS WITH ROTATING WEEKENDS
FLOATING TO OVER UNITS/DEPARTMENTS. (If so, to which units/departments?)
WILL BE REQUIRED TO WORK ALL DEPTS/AREAS WITHIN THE HOSPITAL-ED, ICU, MED. SURG, PEDS, OB, AND FAMILY CARE AREAS
BED SIZE/NUMBER OF ROOMS FOR THIS UNIT/DEPT.
117 UNIT/DEPARTMENT SPECIFIC TRAINING AND ORIENTATION PROGRAM:
BASIC INTRODUCTION TO HOSPITAL SPECIFICS, FLOOR LAYOUTS,EQUIPMENT STORAGE AREAS, PT CARES AREAS, RESPIRATORY CARE DEPT., REVIEW OF HOSPITAL POLICY AS WELL AS DEPT POLICY. BRIEF COMPUTER TRAINING.
ADDITIONAL COMMENTS:
Needs to have excellent PT assessment skills, ability to work with diversified cultures. Honesty and integrity.
